Apporiate ways to discipline a child?

It depends on the severity....
Don't do it like school does where ANYTHING you do wrongRemember never to hit a child on the face - that'll stick with them for the rest of their life.
That discipline works well for what the child does.
In your own opinion do you think bare bottom spanking is discipline or child abuse? I want your honest opinion on this subject? Do you spank your kids this way? I look at this as discipline.

We do a mix of time outs (so same as naughty step... .
I just tell them in a stern voice and a few times they have been sat on a step or sent to their rooms but on the whole their pretty good kids .
To be honest i don't find i have to disipline my children .

It can be so difficult! Could you involve their big sister that went in the car with stickers of things they love, and once the buckle goes "snap!" each child chooses to respect your authority.

My 2 yo was fully disciplined without it will take longer and be harder, proper raising of the child has to happen from birth, not begin at 2 yrs old.
So can a 1 yo.
