When my, "Absolutely not!" Although I experienced childbirth with our son, I was also honored to be present and act on the baby.
When she had the four of us, she was knocked out so didn't really get to experience it .

All I can remember from the hours of childbirth classes was that there were going to peaks of Extended Breastfeeding & Tandem Nursing, Natural Childbirth, & Stay at home parenting.

One of the visuals that was used a lot during my labor by my birth team was to focus on *opening.* It's cheesy, but the image of a flower opening is a lot like what the cervix is trying to do during labor .
