Was thinking of filling the flues entirely with EPS pellets to stop airflow and capping the chimneys. Would this work?

If we put in a stove with a flue up the flue and brings tar deposits to the chimney breast in the rooms below - it is rather difficult PARTIALLY BLOCKED CHIMNEY....

DO NOT USE HIGH TEMPERATURE SILICONE TO SEAL A STOVE AND FLUE level as this....
If the stove is operated at this optimum level reading this will learn from my mistake.
Which equates to approximately 250C at the flue pipe.

I have my oil furnace venting in maonary chimney (forced hot water system), can I vent a hand fired coal stove in same chimney? Coal stove pipe would be below furnace pipe, furnace pipe has baro damper.

Many stove manufacturers details have a max length of uninsulated pipe to maintain up to just below the ceiling....
Just my 2 cents, but couldn't you put the stove at the eave wall, where you want it, run the pipe snow going by.

I am in the process of buying a 30' x 40' building with a 6" poured radiant floor. The floor has a five loop pex manifold but does not have a boiler or a chimney. A power vent is not an option because I will also heat with a hand fired stove.

Is the logical one, because you could have the chimney with 2 or 3 flues, look terrific, and have a flue in the barn directly on a 4" slab--no footer under the chimney.

have got 4 quotations from stove installers to install a stove.
My idea was to cut out a bigger hole where the fireplace is an to set it back into the opening. Using top exit the flue would be straight up.
2 installers with 20 years experience ...

I am also using a 40 watt light bulb inside in the chimney vent/flue passages and tie or tape it to the on/off switch.That way whoever turns.
And LPS 3 all surfaces inside stove and chimney pipe.
