I am wondering if a smaller stove, around 45,000 btu, will marry to an existing 8" Clay and Masonry
Chimney of 25'.
The chimney is internal (which is to say only the uppermost 5' is outside
and/or stovepipe does not enter the chimney proper. An 1-2" of stove cement at each end of the thimble

Which type of flue pipe, from the boiler to the chimney base, do you use?
Galvanized, Black, or 316

That has a flue in the same chimney as the wood stove) as well since they are touching inside
, and the woodstove has a 6" circle pipe going into the flue and a 6" square terra cotta liner coming out
for the fireplace is in the same chimney as the flue for the wood stove.

An 8" flue, with double wall black pipe to the 8" stainless Selkirk metalbestos chimney. I believe
, certified stove. No problem except that all new stoves seem to be 6" flue, and the existing chimney...
with following your suggestion would be that with a 2" difference between the stove flue, and the chimney...

Does anyone know how to fix a broken flue? I noticed it while cleaning out the stove pipe

Hello
Any suggestions or similar experience with the Hitzer 503. I had the stove delivered
yesterday and now am looking into the flue offset. The center of the flue aligns with the end

Is the damper at full open able to pass a 7" round pipe?
