If it is not UCS-2, you have a problem (since you cannot Chinese, Japanese, and....
If your content is not Unicode (BIG 5 chinese and japenese content is (see this ).
For the Chinese and Japenese language that are not Unicode.

It is a LOT simpler than French and Spanish which I know a little of... .
But to be honest, I think Chinese is really easy.
Because the chinese government tries to make us believe that it is a language a different alphabet.
