Hi!
I do have one service running in the background. Whenever it starts I store in memory the starting time in milliseconds:
startingTime = new Date().getTime();
I want to display a chronometer that starts counting when the service starts and never stops...

I have a Chronometer widget in my Android app. I was wondering how to get the time from it. I tried getText, getFormat, getBase, etc, but none of them work. This is probably a easy question, but I could not find it on Google.

After much careful consideration, up for sale is my TAG Heuer Link Automatic Chronometer WJF5111.BA0570.

So after going back and forth deciding between the Nav B Uhr II (Handwound) and the Nav B (Handwound)... I pulled the trigger on the Arabic version of the Marine Chronometer II. Ordered straight from Steinhart's website. Looking forward to the arrival...

Steinhart Marine Chronometer II Roman – Unitas 6498.
This watch is 14 months old and has seen very little use. It is the hand wound Unitas 6498 and this one has the gold coloured backplate on the movement.
