That cap type makes very little difference in guitar applications, in this circuit it does.

Changing the cap values values have a distinct effect on the brightness of the guitar.
Maximum treble.
From the circuit-- the tone you get is directly from the pickups.

It's possible to put the TBX in a mexico stndart P that I will not ... .
TBX were, and prefer TBX to standard passive tone controls.
TBX means Treble Bass eXpander.
The tone control from the circuit, so you get a brighter tone.
