Hello all, looking at buying a civic as a commuter car, found a 1998 DX hatch.
just wondering how long these engines will last. It's got 199,000 KMS on it now.
also, what kind of highway MPG will i see? its the 1.6L
3 hour daily round trip, so good MPG...

Yeah kilometers.
I don't know what KMS is, is it kilometers? I know that DX's with over 150-200k miles can still get pretty good mpg .
A 98 DX will get almost 40mpg if its in tip top condition .
