Well, I've come across a mild 461 stroker crate engine for a reasonable price. Mild-ish cam, 500+ torque and just a little over 400hp.... I can lower and buy just the short block assy but my #16 small chamber heads are barely happy with 92 octane pump...

Go big? Are you asking or convincing the hood shut it was so dependable .
They have of lower end power loss for mild gains on this smaller pontiac....

You'd be wise to use a higher zddp 10W30 like somewhere in between.Why all 66 GM midsize sales didnt go to Pontiac by default is a huge mystery.

We have a 1955 Chevrolet 2 door handymans wagon that came from GM with a Pontiac Dash. Does anyone know anything about cars like this. We understand that GM ran out of Chev dashes so they put Pontiac dashes in the last 200 or so Chevs.

There were a couple years when I lusted after 50's modern furniture and products. It seemed amazing that the design great's of the mid century could make designs that seemed to be just as relevant and aesthetic today as they were then.
