Effects of household cleaning products on children?
I have just started using Norwex cleaning products, they are safe and they work as they are anitbacterial. My little ones can use the cloths and cleaning products as they are safe. Cleaning is said to be quicker using these products and they are if you don't have you little one helping.

In light of the economic turmoil, have you cut your household spending?
The increase in energy costs has cut very slightly into my monthly money left over for savings. When you're already living below your means, you don't have these problems.

How do you divide household chores?
We have a very traditional setup here, my dh brings home the money and I do pretty much everything else. He is frequently gone for a month or more at a time and when he is home he works very long hours. I do not really consider myself "just" a SAHM, though, just as I was before we had children and will be when they grow up. Everyone gets overwhelmed sometimes, right now I am hiding from my closet because it's my big project for this week and it's not pretty. Having my dh help out more around the house wouldn't stop me from being overwhelmed sometimes, and it sounds like you've got a great husband who loves you and helps out quite a bit so I would personally just ignore your friends when they say he needs to help out more.

What can a normal person do in his immediate household to help combat climate change?
You can do a lot of things, like to avoid using old car that emits dark and to much carbon dioxide, to avoid to much use of aerosol, to avoid burning rubbers especially tires and many more. In doing so, you contribute a lot in a little way to combat climate change.

What Household Cleaners do you Use?
Yes, you can get all sorts of things up from floors with a steamer. Linoleum can get nasty after a few years, no matter how much it is mopped.
