Great tracking compared to my G7.
I owned a G7 V1, I FPS a lot and didn't encounter lag nor battery issues
I then upgraded to a G9x and software and good middle mouse button.

I had fixed the spacebar with superglue.....
Keyboard spacebar broke, think one of the kids did it, and subsequently, the 2 feet at the back of the keyboard, and finally the backlight and keyboard itself gave up the ghost .

I have an original G9 and I agree on middle click...
IMO I've always liked Logitech stuff, be it Mouses, keyboards or speakers.
Probably the best mouse i've ever owned was the Logitech mx1000 which i'm still using at work.

I've been using a mediocre mouse for some time now(Same mouse for almost 6 years now). Is it worth upgrading a mouse? Or does it not really matter all that much? Gaming would be the biggest use. What would you suggest?

Just got a Logitech G9 that I saw Jeff Atwood talking want cheap, I highly recommend the Logitech....
It's by far the best cordless mouse I've had and I love the removable the new battery in quickly between frags .
I love my Logitech G7.
