I did a lot of non-clinical community service in college
Now I am a post-bacc student and I am doing clinical volunteer work. But should I also be doing non-clinical community service as well?

Perhaps it might be as simple as the serial port settings on your application? Serial comms require the baud rate, stop bits and parity settings to match on both sides of the link .

How good is good.
The simple answer is yes, a good board score can make up for sub-par clinical grades.
clinical grades, but seriously? FM is nowhere near as difficult to get into as you make it sound, even there.

We have timeouts set to 30 seconds, and we almost never wait... .
The receiving application shouldn't do something like making you wait while it performs operations on the message .
In my experience, you should receive an ACK or NAK back within a few seconds .
