I always clip ADR session.
I would always clip on the actor - that chest resonance is critical to the lav sound.

The function gluPerspective() can be used to set near Z and far Z clipping planes.
I want to draw a scene clipped at a certain far Z plane, and draw another scene beyond this Z plane. Is it possible to do this clipping twice per frame?

Simply setup the first perspective, draw the first scene and then setup the second perspective and draw the seconds scene, all within the drawing of the same frame .
There's no reason you shouldn't be able to do this .

Supposedly, this has been resolved in the latest Vegas Pro 1... .
I was only able to solve it by opening an earlier, untainted version of the project and copying over the affected clips.
It happened to me, and the best I can tell is that it's a bug .

What Adam said....
Those values represent their particular value as well as all values beyond, and so they are best used as outside bounds detectors .
If you ever receive values at the maximum or minimum, then you are, by definition, clipping.

The panel's paint method sets up an example clip which looks like a rectangle the area we want to exclude.
You'll need to know the bounds of the rectangle you want a single panel in it .
You can do this with an AWT clip.

I'm using clip to create thumbnails for a gallery. Unfortunately, clip can only be used when an element is absolutely positioned. Applied equally to each img, this of course makes them all sit on each other while using one CSS style, something like this...
