Our RE gave us the option of just IUI or just clomid, but the chances are better with the whole to give....
We've definitely taken the slow approach IUIs.
We'll probably move onto Clomid + IUI in a few months.

That sounds good to me! The question now is how many of them will mature by the time you have your IUI. Are you doing OPKs (ovulation tests) or a trigger shot to time the IUI?

I just had my doctor's visit today to monitor my follicles size through Ultrasound and I am excited with the result compared to Clomid unmedicated and was sorta iffy....
IUI's with Clomid and now recently switched to Letrozole-Femara .
