It says these blu ray disk are region one (the same as Japan) but it then says it can only be played
-ray_DiscShould be safe then. Amazon.co.jp always has a region code list for dvds, but not for Blue
) the same region code, so you should be OK for blu-ray.

play on PAL players and vice versa??? is there in fact a difference? are all dvds encoded in MPEG2
It's pretty simple. Region codes determine what region a disc will play in. DVDSP discs are set

These are going to be played in a TV/DVD setup primarily, and maybe on a PC

Also keep in mind that DVDs have region...

From the US not buy dvds from overseas? Do you not have multi-region dvd players? I ask this because
I quite often buy region one dvds even though I'm in region two area. I know quite a few other people...
-region player is to buy a R1 player and find the codes to crack it on the internet.
