I have some Region 1 DVDs I wanted to convert to region 2. As I didnt have any blank DVDs, I switched my laptops DVD R/W drive to from Region 2 to Region 1 to read them, and then used DVDShrink to save them as ISO files.

I bought some DVD's that were supposed to be region free but their Region 2 PAL DVD's
go figure eh? -_- false advertisement.
Anyways, I encode anime and shows all the time for myself but I have never done PAL before. I want to be able to watch these on...

I currently have a NTSC TV 1080i. I am moving to the UK and wanted to know what I would need to watch the following:
US HD-A2 HD-DVD Player
US Wii
US Multi-region DVD Player.
Do I need to worry about NTSC if I watch all my US DVD's in 1080p or 1080...

Generally, it's to do with Madman releasing....
Most PAL units can also play NTSC, but most NTSC can't play PAL.
And digimon season 2 on dvd I thought Australian players can only play PAL? No, it's not like a region code.
