What I can't stand is filter coffee For me, coffee needs to be prepared cup by cup, not a whole pot at once. But I guess that's just the European in me

I have tried using white vinegar to remove the brown coffee stains from my glass coffee pot, and it was only partially effective. Is there a better way?

Also century recipe, so I realize....
I belive the author said something to the effect that early coffee would have been heated and re-heated throughout the day so it would taste much like stale coffee left in a pot would now.
