Bought a cuisinart a few years ago. The DCC-1200. Worked lika a charm. Switched the on button day. Zip. Tried on/off. Unplug/plug, got zip. Light shows its on. No heat at all.

I have purchased numerous coffee makers, even a french press, and always made with bottled water I hate it all. What is a GREAT tasting coffee? I have wasted hundreds of dollars on coffee I throw away after I try it.

We're happier with our "free" (with coffee purchase) Gevalia than we were with our two previous Cuisinarts....
My coffee isn't hot even was definitely more than 29.99 though.
It with a cuisinart (no grind) but still with a thermal pot and it sucks .

I like Rico's coffee shops even better than Starbucks! There is 1 located right across the street from The Inn at Mazatlan.
