A year ago or so I bought a well known coffee maker and when I brought it home washed it thoroughly and from that time on I've been using my old coffee maker until I can find one made in the USA.

Use about 1 rounded tablespoon of grounds for each mug .
Both will give you a great cup of coffee.
The least expensive and easiest ways to make coffee are the drip method and the french press.
