Is drinking coffee with .5 Xanax useless? I NEED my morning coffee or else I just won't be able to function without being grouchy but I also just took 1 prescriped .5mg Xanax. Thing is, I took four of those (total of 2mg) last night...I know I know it...

I used to take xanax for anxiety but never drank coffee....
Not too sure.
If you need xanax, then it is time to consider giving up the caffeine.
You fell sicker but no calmer.
Xanax calms anxiety, caffeine causes anxiety.
More or less.

I dont think that the diazapams (Valium) are recommneded while on Tx, but one person on here was prescriped Temazapam, for sleep issues.
Make sure to check with your Doctor about that med (I'm not familiar with that one) and you can also look up each...
