What I saw that and....
The Royal Mint agreed with the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games to strike commemorative coins with a standard weight of one kilogram or more .
My mum used to do the checking required by that act .
Looks like I'm pushing my sixpence collection further back in time. Are these the only portrait versions? And are these the 'proper' names?

I'm sorry but if I was a king and ordered some coins to be minted and they turned up with this. I would chop all their heads off....what on earth! Its more like a 3 year olds drawing! Considering hundreds of years before the romans had coins of this caliber...

It seems legitimate, though the bust looks perhaps a little off, I think its just the scan .
Not the most common coin, though not particularly scarce.
Your coin is Yunnan 50 cash, No date but made around 1920 .

Decimal coinage just seems so easy! It certainly confused the immigrants.

And accounts were written in 3 columns - pounds, shillings and pence .

You would get away with running a 2 cent coin on a Jubilee mk1 on 6d, without having to hack the machine but payouts would be incorrect... .
A Euro is very thick in depth, I cannot think of any old UK denomination coin that comes close to the thickness of a Euro .

Simple enough to answer: the cost to grade the sac or the eagle is $14 + $16.95 for shipping (there might even be a handling fee of $8.. .

The reason for this difference is due to 'technical issues', according the Royal Mint and Treasury .
