Ken I did some serious impulse buying of British coins at a coin show this fall, and I've taken quite coins, I've received coins from my grand-parents and grand-uncle.

They don't replace the old coins, they just put the new monarch on new destroy all old....
However it should be CR As Scuby said.
Decimalisation of our currency back in 1971 meant that old coins were gradually replaced .

I guess at some lowball price there is.
But generally not in my view.
My view is sight seen is really the only way to go and it doesn't matter if a coin is slabbed by pcgs, ngc, starred, plussed, or cac.
