Supposedly it's not so bad.
For complete science on the issue, I suggest trying a full prep (with hot water even) followed by a cold water/cold lather shave.
They do a full prep, I assume.
Favor the cold water shave.

DH and I both like it cold to sleep. If I can bundle under covers and have just my bright pink, freezing cold nose sticking out, I am happy.

Since I moved to Alaska from Mississippi 3 years ago, one question that has always interested me is, "how cold is to cold for man and snow machine to be out on the line"? Seems several folks in the McGrath area use -20F as a cutoff. What do you think?...

The shocks on our machines didn't want to work.
-30 ambient and -50 windchill.
We made a 100 mile run yesterday and it was cold.
I found its cutoff time when its anywhere past -40 snowmachine place .
The -50's before and thats too cold.

Okay as some of you know I have had my share of colds lately - thanks to 3yo daughter picking them up plus my other half fixes heating systems so is in people's houses all the time! They like to share.

I know the Canadians or other weird people coming form ridiculously cold places will laugh at me.
