I'll be going out probably Wednesday nite to see if this cold snap/strong winds woke up the bigger shrimp. If not, I still need a bunch of bait for the summer fishing season.
Here's hoping some eating size shrimp show up.

Of course.always.despite some ****wits complaining their guitar arrived untuned it's common sense to slacken the strings.spose you could debate just how much you should slacken em but enough so as to feel like your strumming wet noodles should suffice... .

I am wondering if I should move some 'stuff' from our barn into the house for protection during the extremely cold temperatures that are due this/next week.
I have normally left paint and tools etc in the barn, but as temperatures look like they are going...

Tools should be ok, just put a couple of blankets over them .
Don't let your paint freeze you'll ruin it, it crystalises and you never get it back .

Hope this helps, the only thing you can do if you snap....
Frankly I don't really know a solution to your problem but if you snap strings a lot the chances even more, forcing your guitar to de-tune frequently and strings will snap harder.
