Is there anyone out there in CR land afflicted with either of these conditions? If so, I'd love to hear how you balance your running with health-related issues.

As well as running, maintain my health by cross training - cycle worse - so I train to maintain....

I was on all of the uc meds unduly immunosuppressive .
With ulcerative colitis before the docs realized I actually had celiac disease.

Ask for a hormone test. Your hair loss doesn't have to be a part of the UC. In any case patchy hair loss is a symptom that should be looked into.
