Sometimes consumer lawyers kindly share their ideas for how to handle debt collectors or debt collection cases for those who are unable to retain an attorney. They can't tell you step by step what to do and they can't draft...

General question, all these debt help companies in the media saying how they will clear your debts, if you don' t have a mortgage what is in it for them.. Or do they cherry pick the best cases?

I'm curious how we are doing in paying debt compared to others. We still spend a fair amount I feel.This does not include mortgage. Maybe you can respond like I did below. I am not including mortgage debt and "Pay" means how much debt paid off each month...

Make: $53k a year (gross, single)
Debt: $15870 car
Pay: $670/560 (before move another $23k or so)
Debt: about $24k+
* Student Loan 1: $2200 remaining - $127 min payment.

Does anybody running a business know of a good and reputable debt recovery agency? It's to collect 3 debts one in Scotland, one in Belgium and one in Italy.
