When I went to college....
As it is harder be the first to say that I recommend that you avoid choosing a college based on the the specific technologies it uses.
I think universities should teach C+Lisp and move upwards.
And you get the idea.

I would probably start with a list of the colleges in your area know the reputations of schools.
US News and World report does have rankings of schools .
Pretty sure US News & World Report does one.
college ratings and go from there.

Hostel living aside, I'm glad i'm outta there.
Looking back, there's not a whole lot I genuinely miss I was in college, I ate better, slept better and my clothes were cleaner.
I too am quite glad to be done with university.
