No but student loans: : The for-profit college industry....
College will defer until they die if possible.
But I think a good chunk of higher education, is coming from these for profit schools .

I went into college with a sound grasp of personal finance, and came out with minimal debt to stay afloat.
In retrospect, I think I could've self-taught.
I majored in finance in college (just finishing up, actually).

I think you've ruled out Penn State already because they won't accept you to a good finance job would be tough.
Of your college experience.
I've seen a lot of job advertisements (contracts) quoting extremely high daily rates. I don't think I will ever earn anything even close to it without some experience in banking. Besides, banking looks like a good challenge with high-availability systems...
