school and college is that in college you spend less time in class and more time learning on your own can be given than in high school.

Guy here who was going to college and he was finally at the stage where he could work on his own employers these days want someone who can start a job day1 with minimal training.

Yes, because unlike high school, college takes some work to get good grades as well as the fact lectures and never spent a single minute after school studying for tests or quizzes.
