Credits from technical schools usually don't transfer to universities or even community colleges.....
Most community college classes transfer to universities and other schools.
To accreditation, much cheaper too.

You should have all kinds of options.
Each state Tech, William & Mary, JMU, and the many instate private schools.
Local community college site, then look at their "transfer to a 4 year institution" page.

Class difficulty is fairly the same can vary, any school not in the study would not be able to be compared.
