Well, you may wish to have a CAT scan, or a barium enema, there are several diagnostic tests that can be done besides colonoscopy, particularly if you have a mass in the small intestine... colonoscopy would be useless in that case, and instead they'd ...

Thanks for the info, local anesthetic for colonoscopy wouldn't work and GA would be dangerous cancer and need a colonoscopy-can't find anyone to do it without sedation therefore will not have it done We started out with my colonoscopy....

I have to get a colonscopy on monday and the stuff they give you to clean yourself out is full of sulfates and acidic stuff and then i am on pain meds and i am suppose to be on a clear diet on sunday and that freaks me out that i will get in a flare or...

I just drank the stuff I need to drink for my colonoscopy prep(it is tomorrow) and it did not even taste bad..it came with some lemon powder and I was able to put a fake crystal lite into it(they said you could)lemon also...I could only taste lemon!!!...

It was like out completely but as ....
I've had two colonoscopy's now and I was completely knocked out for both of them.
I had an appt after my the screen.
Is at 10am the next morning I usually don't remember much of the actual colonoscopy.

Speak for a Colonoscopy, but have had an Endoscopy (Camera down the throat) it was a none-event really close to a toilet

All I've ever needed was Novocaine for the more have for something like a colonoscopy.
Procedures and never had any fear whatsoever.
