I haven't come across any decent dark Visual Studio 2008 color themes with support for ReSharper 's Color identifiers turned on.

It's a minor annoyance, but still readable all the same .
I couldn't find a Dark Side theme that was compatible the color settings for debug background, but have been unsuccessful.
Very easy on the eyes.
Isn't 100% black.

To get a contrasting text color I just get the HLS representation don't draw your color text on a system color background).

Hi, I want to write a function in ruby that given a number between 1 and 500 will output a 6 digit hex color code that gets linearly darker for higher numbers. This doesn't seem that hard but I'm not sure where to begin. How can I implement this?

If you only want to darken your reference color, it's easy.
See here for an example.
What you want to output the color.
The 6 digit hex color code is in RGB.
Distinguishable anyway, and grays give you 256 levels.

Is Eclipse at all themeable? I would like to install a dark color scheme for it, since I much prefer white text on dark background than the other way around.
Edit: so apparently there is NO easy way to do it. Shame, I really prefer Eclipse to NetBeans...

I am just playing with an iPhone test app that orients the view when the simulator is rotated left or right. Everything worked fine when my view had a white background, however when I altered the view background to a darker color I noticed a white edge...

There might have an appropriate dark background colour set, most notably the nib file which contains the "window.
I've never noticed it but then again I've never tried to rotate a very dark view.

If you can layer, periwinkle topped with rubino will give you that color.

I saw a thread like this rcently- but didnt take much notice of the answer- as it didnt apply to me at the time.
i painted this little china town scene- and it was about darks and lights- one side of the street in dark- the other light- all sorts of purples...

A few thoughts:
--First consider some key color relationships: harmony, key of painting, value sheet and drop in a major (but varigated) transparent warm color wherever there is direct illumination and allow to spread and dry.

Hi, been struggling with the colors on *flexisign pro 8.1 and mutoh valuejet 1304* when i send the image it prints so dark, even when i send just simple lettering,
If i send sky blue it prints navy blue,
If I send gray comes out black.
If i send a picture...

For those of us who write "brown" characters, do you ever take skin color into consideration? As in, sure your character is black, but are they Sudanese black or african american black or Vanessa Williams black?

A brown chick,I am neither dark nor light so we are just forgotten about in the ridiculous color war whom I imagine as very dark brown and a man who's more of a medium/mahogany color.
