I was very surprised when I checked on a 16 Gb RAM set for the current MBP 15" to see it was only $240 at Crucial.com.
(Planning to get a 15" MBP once it's out).
Is this because RAM has generally decreased in price or because the current model is already...

Is it normal for the spindle to come down from HOME after power down? Mine does this and I read a comment that someone elses does too on another thread.

I use a block to keep it from setting all the way down, and just re with the spindle on!
in order to get the machine to respond I have to shut it down and restart ballscrew.

I have a bunch of Windows Services and Scheduled Tasks running in one server. Since some of these services pools an external resource I leave it disabled in the backup server, to save bandwidth. How to activate it automatically when the main server comes...

If the active node goes down, the services will be started on the inactive node.
The only solution I can come up with is a "controller to be clustered Resources.
But not every application supports MSCS, I know.

Speculation has it the SGS III will hit with a ~$999 pricetag so that makes it around $250 more than the SGS II is now .
SGS II has already dropped in price and in recent weeks and plenty of retailers have been throwing in a free TV .

I was just wondering how you stop come-downs after smoking. They fucking suck imo.
Waking and baking is greaaaat, then a few hours later you just feel blegh and shit.
Is there any way to stop these? Like, eating certain foods or something?
