We have a sleigh bed & just tuck the end of the comforter between where the mattress ends.
We just have to stuff it into the footboard, but it does fit .
I have a big down comforter and it's just fine.

How do you get Johnson's Baby Lotion out of a white goosedown comforter? My husband likes to use lots of it on me, and he spilled about half a bottle when he was rubbing me with it.

As for that comforter, buy a duvet cover for it.
Never use fabric softener on down, btw, and the other one doing all the taking.
On the spot and scrub if it doesn't appear to be coming out .
