Whats the best active pickup in the neck for cleans? I guess it needs to be less output then say a emg 85 which I think is the highest output emg. Im thinking either an emg 60/60x or seymour duncan live wire classic 2.

The 89 was good in my sixes.
It's pretty much an SA and a slightly warmer 85 in the neck.
I love my 89X-R in the neck.
From the extra compression of the emg standards.

Fender American Standard with Warmoth Pro Wide Neck The neck on this thing is massive, but it's not the reason I'm looking to get rid of it. I just can't get used to a 25.5" scale no matter how hard I try. I love the sound of this guitar quite a bit and...

Anybody else run into this? I bought a brand new unused unfinished SRO-C off TGP and they're supposed to measure 0.86 and 0.96. I took the Calipers to this one and it's 0.83 and 0.925. Pretty substantial difference and makes it basically unusable for ...

I'm a partly self-taught bassist so far in the sense that I played some stuff on my own before I started my official lessons on the bass, and I'm curious if I'm doing something wrong here.

I was taught the "thumb in the middle of the back of the neck is "bad technique" because it puts the most strain on your hand/wrist, which is bad on the upright neck) so that your wrist is perfectly....
It all comes down to long-term comfort.

Speaking on XFM in Accra, Mr Abbey said he is particularly uncomfortable with the way the goal keeper handled the aerial balls. If you look at all the aerial balls, he faulted and it was a cause of worry for many of us. It is pretty obvious that the goal...

Worst Ever Tigers Trade
According to jake, it will be (already is?) the Jurrjens trade. But there are some legitimate stinkers over the past 100 years.

Tigers get:
Juan Gonzalez a previous trade) Out of baseball.
