They are pretty inexpensive, so and comforters there and they often have coupons in the Sunday paper for even more off.
If you have an IKEA by you, they sell different weight comforters.

Sometimes they have a cover that you can remove but mostly they don't .
While comforters go on top and in hotels are comforters.
To wikipedia is "A duvet is not to be confused with a comforter.

We've done comforters, blankets.
You'll probably want a CA king and have never had any problems fitting any type of cover on the top .

Although I did order some bedding from brylanehome.com before and was pleasantly surprised at the quality .
Yeah, I totally kwym but I am not a big online shopper in general, just because I like to actually see things before I buy them .
