What are some non-captcha methods for blocking spam on my comments?

When it's good, add it.
[EDIT] As a middle way, only allow links at the request of your users or hold a comment until you verified the link.
Without links, spam is useless.
Disallow links.

I get a lot of spam comments on my Blogger blog, and I always reject them. But i want to find a way to prevent these comments from reaching my blog in the first place. To reject them automatically.
How can I do that?

Spambots don't care about CSS, and thus will fill it with the same administrator, first by rejecting the ... .
It's mostly used for WordPress the comment if there's anything inside it.
Akismet is a known spam filtering service aimed at blogs.

Two things I've used to really reduce comment spam down have beencheck out http://superuser.com/questions/47/bloggers-how-do-you-deal-with-spam
Akismet is a great plugin for reducing spam.

one method the form is submitted it's spam, any normal user would never even know about the field.
Without a captcha there is no 100% way of stopping all spam.

I, too, receive spam like this on a regular basis.
You could expect to receive spam from the same IP within a few weeks.
I believe the intention is to be whitelisted on the spam list.
Probably China.

Comment spam is often to remove, or otherwise deal with, the spam posts that do get through.

Yes we know, it is super irritating and yes as administrators we should do all we can to prevent it.
And we do, but all automated systems are designed to separate human for bot and the spammers we now got are not bots...
