I get so tired of these debates.
Socialism with democracies seems like the better end of the scale to compare to capitalism. Plenty of countries practice socialism and they work really well. Then again, some have it and don't work well. Same with capitalism...

So this is what it's coming to? The premise is totally wrong about communism, by the way. I guess the teacher failed to study Marxism and what happened in the Soviet Union, China, etc..

Soviet Union wasn't really communism, and there were a lot of things wasn't really communism, and there were a lot of things they should have done differently to make the teacher had been spouting off at the mouth....
