Hi,
I want to boot a CD on the given server.
It's only booting via network.
F10 or F9 on Compaq logo screen doesn't work, neither F1.

If this is a G1 server (white/beige-colored DL580 with Compaq logos the appropriate Compaq Smart Start CD of the era (v5.x, I think).

Besides the work laptop, I just got to keep a Compaq Presario F700 for 3 months after which I need to return it " just like I had got it ".

I've got this older compaq, it still runs great.
The screen has been yellowish in the bottom center of the screen for a while. Suddenly, it's just completely dark.

I installed Kubuntu 9.04 alternate disto onto my Compaq Evo N600c. Now when the software boots, it show text telling me to access Ubuntu documentation and visit http://help.ubuntu.com . The web page has nothing that will get me logged in.

Cheap laptop for sale.needs new hard drive as original buggered up.
the laptop is a hp compaq cq61.perfect screen and good battery life.few marks but was working great until hard drive went.has new charger and will come with an original disc of windows...

As far as i know.it came up with an error code and when checked it said that hard drive failing and wouldnt boot up.spoke to pc world and they said it needs new hard drive and a fresh... .
