Why are there two competing implementations for the future of web markup - XHTML 2 and HTML 5, particularly given that HTML 5 appears to have an XML-compliant counterpart XHTML5?

Not sure if that would help you, there is no set fee for this industry, you just have to work out what your "Cost of Doing Business" is, what knowledge and experience you have and charge accordingly photo guy likes this .
