There is software out there to teach you how to play where, and applying that knowledge....
A good selection of CDs, maybe some with lectures as well would be your best bet .
I'm not sure how software would help with that.
And listening to it.

Why don't you just use the exact same algorithm as the password composer? Pick a master password Take the application/machine name for which you want a password Concatenate the two (or shuffle) Apply a code you can do in your head, like Caesar's cipher... .

I have used PyAudio quite extensively for dealing with raw audio inputs, and found it to be very unpythonic, acting much more like a very thin wrapper over C code .
