Hi All
I decided to put this on as i had searched around to see if this was possible but hadn't,t found really any answers. So hear it is.
I installed WOW on my just purchased 800mhz emac 40gb H/Drive,CD ROM. 1GB RAM.
Having only a cd rom i had to load...

You are better off selling your Mac, and getting a newer one that meets the suggested, not minimum specs.

I just replaced a bad hard drive and added memory to an otherwise dead unit, anyone have operating software so I can bring this one alive again?

As the computer presumably has no OS at this time, you can see the original ....
Be able to give you more guidance if we knew which of the eMac variants you have (they all are model A1002--there are still hardware differences over time).

I have an old EMAC 17".
My IT guy wiped it clean as I am giving it to a friend(who doesn't know how to operate a computer yet)
So my IT guy is having trouble putting on an OS.

Have installed tiger and now want to add classic. Using OS9 install disk it stops at the point of selecting a system folder for classic. Clicked on the system folder and a pop up says selected volume not writable classic resources need updating.
