I've got Guitar Rig 4 running on Windows 7 on my laptop with the standard soundcard with ASIO4ALL.
However, the ASIO driver overwrites the normal sounddriver and I can't listen to any other sound, be it winamp, youtube, etc, until Guitar Rig. This means...

I have a Peavy Bandit 112 Guitar Amp, and I can't play loud in my appartment xD, I wanna still play while having music playing. so I was thinking plugging the amp in the computer, so I can get the right sound, clean and distortion, then plug my headphone...

Hello,
I am completely new to recording. I would like to do two things:
1. Record my guitar onto a computer with decent quality.
2. Create backing drums to accompany the guitar track.

I think he change pups too, for example, can play circles around the average player, but since he doesn't go for a longer that he needs to get a larger guitar....
