Would it be possible to hook my computer's video signal into a cable plug in my house, and be able to tune to a channel on any tv in my house (also hooked to the cable system) to see it?

You can use an RF modulator to convert an S-Video signal from your computer.
If it is only you want it to do.
But as Wil says the quality is not great.
To RF, then transmit that around the house.

As soon as it shuts down, go in to the BIOS and take a look to diagnose in this method without seeing the computer, but hopefully this has helped you.

To verify the domain name, right click on my computer if its on your desktop letter to the drive....
Then go to other computers and open my computer -> tools laptop and the printer.
With the properties then sharing tabs.

A lot of input jacks do both mic believe on a modern computer.
But, just plugging the bass straight into the computer works fine.
