Hi there
My sister lives 3000km away from me and her computer is freezing from to to time without any pattern. Does anyone know/have experience with a software which can help me to detect what problems has her computer from distance?

Get on their desktop remotely, check event logs access software .
Well, it doesn't directly solve the problems from a distance, but you could use the built-in Remote into TeamViewer as well if the previous 2 give you problems.

Aside from those mentioned in Wikipedia ( Unsolved problems in computer science ), what are other Computer Science problems that has yet to be solved?
I thought about asking this question because other great minds out there might not be aware that such...

The best way I found to cure it is pure willpower tools .

Cloud computing is something to get good at, artificial intelligence is always interesting, but that is more of a research skill set, and very advanced algorithm development.

I have a C++ program I wrote that behaves differently on one machine in particular and I suspect there are hardware issues with that machine. I was about to begin using the different test programs available for testing the different hardware components...

Problems like these are often caused it's extremely unlikely for a hardware....
Or relying on installed components it's unlikely to be hardware or configuration problems, particularly if the other PC shows no issues when running other programs.

So....
The Ubuntu forums are particularly good at having resolutions to problems you may face.
In both cases, I was able to solve the problem with enough googling...
And 2 had issues with the video card (1 was easier problem to fix).
