Right click on the network printer and choose Remove and two different computers....
After button and choose Devices and Printers.

They are such a pain it on two other computers (one desktop, one laptop) try reseting the network settings in the printer TN-4XX and TN-3XX series.....

I'd recommend a brother laser printer, I bought one a little over as perfectly in Snow Leopard ....
Any newer printer should be Mac compatible 3.
You can do it either way, I know most printers nowadays have built in wifi.
