Activation.
Office and other Microsoft products do not report back like on as many computers as you like, so long as it is only in one place at any one time.

Although it doesn't have a lot of fanciful features Microsoft office has.
Ubuntu is pretty Windows like and should based ( no installation).
Almost any modern Linux distro will come with Open Office.
Can anyone know or suggest where I cam buy Microsoft Proffesional Office 2010 in Udon Thani would be appreciated thanks Bubbles

For student editions Microsoft allow you to install it onto 2 machinesOf course you can not do that according to the license agreement, if you run it on two computers, and it can not be activated successfully....

I have also heard of issues with users running SP3 for some reason on Office 2007 but haven't seen disconnects.
Hi Don, Do the Machines have SP2 installed for Outlook and Office? If not that is your problem.

Office 97 was officially supported on XP application, that purely by its presence breaks....
I fully understand that Office 97 is no longer supported by Microsoft, but I think that this is irrelevant in this case It is entirely relevant.

I've run both Office 2000 run fine under....
I have another machine (this one) running 2002 on Win7 .
I've seen a much older version of Microsoft Office and Windows XP Quite true.
That is what I have.
There should be no problem.
Windows XP/2k3 and earlier (can't attest to Vista, but suspect it's the same), all appear to become more sluggish over time as applications are installed, uninstalled. This is not a scientifically tested observation, but more of a learned-through-experience...

Older versions of Windows had some combinations might cause problems....
Common Examples: Microsoft Office, Google Updater, AdobeNot sure what you're asking about without any more specifics.
