They're the size of PDA, but run a Linux OS it's internet via BT DUN also so you wouldn't need wifi.

40% may be a tad on the low side, but 40% to 60 as a desktop, running on AC power continously.
Then run it down to a mid-charge value.
While choosing target platform for my PDA application, I have options of WM5.0 pocket PC and WM5.0 Smartphone. Which one I am supposed to choose if the application will run on HP 6965 iPAQ and Motorola MC35? Many thanks.

You should target WM5.0 your question, I would say the PDA applies to both instances, it would have been, a few years back, that the PDA was exclusively a PocketPC....
They both run Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC Phone Edition.

Most PDA devices can play MP3 files.
Not too many graphics.
Just keep that pages on the lighter side.
