I'm working on reducing the memory requirements of my AS3 app. I understand that once there are no remaining references to an object, it is flagged as being a candidate for garbage collection.
Is it even worth it to try to remove references to Loaders...

Similarly dict.keys() gives a dict_keys....
For instance range() now returns something similar to the old xrange object - it can still be indexed, but lazily constructs the integers as needed .
Many of them are not exactly iterators, but special view objects .

I was wondering about all those turtle eggs being sold at the KT market. Are they viable? I mean if someone were to buy them, could turtles still be hatched from them?
