You need to check if the device supports JSR-75 to get PIM data access .

I spend a decent amount of time setting the photos for all the contacts on my iPhone so that the photo will come up full-screen when talking to them on the phone. I use ActiveSync to sync my iPhone with Google Contacts and Calendar, and that is all working...

Assuming you have a Mac, and you're syncing MobileMe contacts to your Address Book:
Open up Address Book, highlight all your contacts, then click File > Export > Export vCard .

As far as I know if you don't have a Google Apps account, there is no active bidirectional sync .
Windows Mail and GMail both understand the concept of a CSV, so I would export my GMail contacts to a CSV then import the CSV in Windows Mail.

Hi
I have thunderbird 3.0 with the Zindus plugin. However it seems that Zindus syncs one way.
For example I type a new email address into thunderbird and then go to my gmail account and it has no record of this contact.
So is there a plugin or some setting...

The idea is that each OAuth implementation will be slightly different where as each Portable Contacts implementation will be the same.
