Any idea on who would be the best company to use to convert a B3s to LPG ? What would be the side effects to this conversion ? Does anyone own an LPG converted ALPINA....What is it like to live with ?

I had a rather funny referal.
One of our brokers rung up requesting if it was ok for one of our clients to add a Nissan Skyline GT-R to his policy that has had an LPG conversion?

Just laid out £63 to fill the tank this morning and thought bu**er this, I have a R45 1.4 2004 and thinking of converting it to LPG. I do approx 15k per year, anyone else had this done and whats your thought?

Considering getting a LPG conversion on the 180 in the future, but as said the MPG wont increase workmanship, so my advice would be to only use a specialist in LPG conversions and do your best to check something for their ....

Yes, FIAT engines are really good for lpg conversion process.
Just my 2 cents Interesting I wanted a LPG conversion for my business and despite over greedy cash grabbing tax man.

High price of Gasoline, benefits of propane - The conversion looks promising.
Pros -
Gasoline is >$4.00 per gallon propane is ~$2.75
Octane rating is around 100
Cleaner combustion so Engine oil will last longer (Thus the engine will last longer)

I've got a E39 520i SE Auto (2.2). Its a 2002 model - but only done 22k miles on the clock! - runs like a dream and just like new.
Anyway, as Petrol is so expensive here in the UK - I was thinking of getting the car converted to run on LPG ...

I got my E39 (2002 model) from Feb.
I did a conversion in Serbia 3 months ago and the engine and the system works in your E39 LPG conversion experience.
And it's running on LPG.

Just curious, has it ever been done? I'm guessing the LPG gas tank would be a challenge to fit but not a deal breaker.
I know bikes are high revving which might be a problem, but something like the NC700 (with a car-derived engine) would be a good base...
