Don't you need.
They are simmering right now.
When the greens the greens are tender but still bright green, 10-15 minutes.
Add the collard greens and stir to coat with the garlic and oil.
And cook 1 minute.

Do you make them alone or do you cook something else in it? I know some people put meat in greens or other veggies, but I'm more so thinking of other veggies, nuts, etc. I've seen some people cook green beans and potatoes together. Another one I've seen...

My DH loves broccoli sauteed pretty boring when it comes to veggies .
:) I've put sliced almonds and dried cranberries in my green beans when I sautee (sp?) them.
I wish I was more creative.
I usually cook them alone.
